Wyanet/Walnut Blacktop to close for bridge replacement

You’ll want to find a detour if you regularly travel the Wyanet/Walnut Blacktop south of Wyanet. The Bureau County Highway Department says due to replacement of the canal bridge South of Wyanet, County Highway 8, also known as Wyanet/Walnut Blacktop, will be completely closed to all traffic. This closure begins May 2nd, with expected completion date of September 1st.
