Investigation continues into death of Ottawa man

An investigation continues into the death of an Ottawa man. At about 4:45 yesterday morning, the Ottawa Police Department received a 911 call to respond to 512 Pierce Street. Once there, they found 30 year old Darrio Hunter of Ottawa. He was taken by ambulance to Ottawa Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead in the emergency room. Investigators say foul play has not been ruled out. Further details of the investigation are being withheld at this time, according to the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Department.
