Princeton Police release activity report

princetonpolicepatchThe Princeton Police Department’s activity report is out for April.  Chief Tom Root reports Police officers responded to a total of 923 calls during the month, with 35 ambulance assists, 6 fire assists, 28 police assists, answered 23 alarms, handled 6 funeral escorts, 17 thefts, six criminal damage calls and 65 motorist assists.  Officers made 23 traffic arrests and 22 non-traffic arrests.  Forty-seven warnings were issued in April, and 10 parking tickets were handed out.  One person was arrested for assault, one for battery, and four on theft charges.  There were five drug, 2 paraphernalia and 2 disorderly conduct arrests.  Two people were ticketed for speeding, 3 for driving with no valid driver’s license and 3 for driving on a suspended or revoked license.  Police handled 21 accidents, including 8 with injuries.
