Spring Valley residents asked to read inside meters

Spring Valley residents are being asked to read and report their inside water meters during the month of May and June.  City Clerk Becky Hansen says all residents with outside water meters must have their inside meters read at the same time to compare the meters’ accuracy.  The city worker will read the outside meter, then try to read the inside meter.  If they can’t, they’ll leave a card for the resident to fill out and send back to the city clerk’s office as soon as possible.  Or, the meter reading may be phoned in to the clerk’s office at 815-664-4221.
