Princeton residents reminded of city ordinances

     With spring here, the Princeton Police Department is reminding city residents to make sure their properties are mowed and maintained. Princeton has a city ordinance stating grass cannot be allowed to grow over 8 inches tall. Any properties in violation will be mowed by the Princeton Street Department at the owner’s expense. Also, when mowing, don’t blow grass clippings into the street. You could be ticketed. In addition, ordinances prohibiting junk, abandoned autos and debris on properties will be strictly enforced.
