Bureau County Board approves audit

The 2010 audit was questioned during this week’s Bureau County Board meeting. Board member Joe Bertetto pointed out that the auditors report states there were several accounts not included. He feels that all funds need to be audited in order for a complete look at the county’s finances. Bertetto says the accounts don’t come from taxpayer monies but come from other sources such as drug seizures and fines. But some do have large amounts of money in them.
