Ag Service Award nominees being sought

The Bureau County Farm Bureau, Bureau County Pork Producers, and Bureau County Cattleman’s Association are again sponsoring their “Agricultural Service Award”.  The award honors individuals who have made a difference to agriculture and farmers in Bureau County and beyond.  To qualify, a nominee must be a resident of Bureau County who has provided service to agriculture.  They should also have a history of giving time and/or resources to Bureau County agricultural organizations.  The award is presented annually during Princeton’s Beef and Ag Day Festival.  Last year’s winner was Harold Steele.  If you would like to nominate someone for the Ag Service Award, contact the Farm Bureau office for an entry form.  Nominations are due by Friday, June 3^rd.
