Plank Road I-80 overpass to be demolished

If you’re used to taking the Plank Road bridge over Interstate 80 east of Peru, you’ll want to make alternate plans the next couple of nights. Crews will start demolishing the overpass tonight and finish up tomorrow night. During the two nights, the Plank Road ramps will be a detour for interstate traffic. All work at the Plank Road and I-80 interchange is expected to be done by this fall.
