Joint PHS and PES meetings a possibility

Joint meetings between the Princeton Elementary and Princeton High School boards could be happening soon.  The Princeton Elementary School Board is hoping to have some joint meetings with the High School Board. Steve Bouslog stated he felt there needed to be more of a flow of information concerning the education of students from kindergarten through twelfth grade. He stressed that the meeting in NOT about consolidation. It is purely about the boards’ accountability and continuity of education of each student. Superintendent Tim Smith was directed to contact Princeton High School Superintendent Kirk Haring to possibly set up a meeting.

In other business, the board approved the following action items:  the transfer of not more than one point two million dollars from Working Cash to the Education Fund; the transfer of not more than ninety-eight thousand dollars from the Transportation to the Building Fund; approved the Life/Safety Amendment of thirty thousand dollars for leakage problems at Reagan Middle School; and accepted with regret the resignation of special education aid, Lindsey Clark.
