State Senator attends Tea Party meeting in Princeton

About 40 people were in attendance at the We the People Tea Party meeting in Princeton last night as Republican Illinois State Senator Darin LaHood spoke about his priorities. LaHood currently represents seven counties in west central Illinois, but because of the spring redistricting he will increase his representation to ten counties next year including most of Bureau, Henry, and Woodford half of Peoria, all of Marshall, Knox, Stark, and Mercer, and parts of Lee and LaSalle Counties.  LaHood says he hopes to continue being an outspoken advocate for his constituents.
