Standing room only at a Princeton town hall meeting
U.S. Congressman for Illinois’ 11th District, Adam Kinzinger, held a town meeting in Princeton Saturday morning. City Commissioner Bob Warren gave the introduction. Before Kinzinger took any questions, he presented Lushin Perry with the Bronze Star Award for meritorious service in Europe during World War Two. He also presented him with nine other medals he didn’t receive sixty-six years ago. After a short statement on some current issues Kinzinger opened the meeting to questions from the floor. At the conclusion of the meeting he then summarized the top three areas on which he will be working. Over 100 people filled the meeting room in the Prouty Building.
