Farm Crop Update
Illinois farms took a heavy hit during last week's rainy weather, but it wasn't enough to slow down crop production. This week's crop report shows 64-percent of corn is in good to excellent condition. Soybean production is ahead of the curve with 97-percent planted. That's three-percent higher than average for this time of year. Sixty-percent of the crop is in good to excellent condition. Wheat is slightly behind when it comes to harvesting but still 56-percent of it is in good to excellent condition.
