Car vs. motorcycle accident near Tonica

A motorcycle rider is hospitalized after colliding with a car.  Tonica Fire and Ambulance responded the car vs. motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon on Route 251 and Ray Richardson Road.  No word yet on the condition of the motorcyclist, who was taken to Illinois Valley Community Hospital.  The accident remains under investigation by the LaSalle County Sheriff’s Department.
