Traffic accident results in injuries, road closure

Traffic accident causes injuries, closes road Interstate 180 around mile marker 9 in Arispie Township was closed for a while at approximately eleven o’clock Tuesday night. According to Bureau County Sheriff’s Deputy Larry Floyd, husband and wife Orneias Bravo, 30, driving a 2000 Dodge Neon, and Sonia Ramirez, 36 both of Hennepin, driving a 2000 Chevrolet Impala, were following each other. 52-year-old Raymond Ferrari, Jr. of Bartlett, IL, driving a 2008 Saab, struck them from behind. All three were taken by Princeton EMS to Perry Memorial Hospital. No tickets were issued at this time but the investigation continues.
