32nd Annual Beef and Ag Festival begins this evening

beef and ag logo     An event in Princeton this weekend is sure to leave local residents loosening their belts.  The Beef and Ag Festival starts this evening with food, award presentations and a musical performance.  The Bureau County Cattlemen's Association will be serving steak sandwiches and all-beef hot dogs at Soldiers and Sailors Park with drive-up service available.  The Decatur Park Singers and Dancers will be performing across the street, on the courthouse lawn, starting at 7, sponsored by Citizens First National Bank.  The annual Citizens Volunteer of the Year award will be announced just before the concert.  Also revealed will be the Ag Service Award winner and Bureau County Farm Bureau Foundation scholarship recipients.  Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and their appetites.  An antique tractor cruise is also being held around the park.  The fun continues tomorrow with food and activities all day.  Join us for an on-location broadcast from the Beef and Ag Festival tomorrow morning from 10 to noon on WZOE-AM 1490.
