Heat wave on the way for our area

     A stretch of hot weather is on the way for our area.  The National Weather Service has placed Bureau and Putnam Counties under an Excessive Heat Warning from Sunday afternoon through Wednesday evening, although the forecast is calling for a high of 96 on Thursday as well.  Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 90’s every day from Monday through Thursday.  The high humidity will make afternoon temperatures feel like up to 110 degrees. We won’t be getting much nighttime relief either, with lows only in the 70’s.
