New way for Princeton residents to get rid of old fri
Electrical Superintendent Jason Bird announced the “Recycle My Fridge Program” at last night’s Princeton City Council meeting. The program will begin on Monday, August 1st at nine o’clock a.m. Princeton residents can call the toll free number 877-341-2313 to get more information and schedule free pickups of their old, 10-to-30 cubic feet secondary refrigerators or freezers that are still in working order. In exchange, a thirty-five dollar rebate will be mailed within four to six weeks after collection. In other business, Maurine Dressler was appointed to replace Steve Coven on the Tourism and Visitors Board. Dressler’s term will expire on January 1st, 2012. At the end of the meeting, Joel Quiram stated that he has heard a lot of good suggestions about revamping Darius Miller Park and reminded everyone to keep the ideas coming.
