Heat Wave Blamed For At Least 13 Deaths

     A killer heat wave is gripping the nation.  The National Weather Service says the ongoing scorcher is now blamed for at least 13 deaths in the Midwest in the past week.  A dangerous combination of hot air and humidity has sent temperatures soaring into the triple digits over the region, with some areas reporting heat indices topping 125 degrees.
