Another successful year for the DePue Boat Races

It’s been another successful weekend of APBA championship boat racing on Lake DePue.  A total of 19 national champions were crowned over the 3-day event.  Thousands of people showed up to take in the carnival rides and food, games, music, 5K run/walk, car show and fireworks display.  Village Mayor and DePue Men’s Club Vice President Eric Bryant says they’re very pleased with this year’s event and are already looking forward to next year’s.  This weekend marked the 27th consecutive year of the APBA Pro National Championship Boat Races on Lake DePue.
