2011 Bureau County Fair Queen To Be Crowned Tonight

     Three crowns will be awarded tonight at the annual Bureau County Fair Queen pageant, held inside the Sally Skinner Council Auditorium at Princeton High School.  According to pageant co-director Tracy Diehl, this year’s event was moved to the high school from the Bureau County Fairgrounds due to the large number of contestants.  It all starts at 4 pm with 16 young girls competing to be Little Miss Bureau County Fair.  The Junior Miss and Miss Bureau County Fair Queen pageants are next.  Eleven contestants vie for the Junior Miss crown, while 17 young ladies compete to be Miss Bureau County Fair Queen.  Finishing their 2010 reigns will be Little Miss Taylor Wetsel of Princeton, Junior Miss Megan Foes of Mineral, and Miss Bureau County Fair Queen Leah Metcalf of Ohio.  Doors open at three this afternoon.  Tickets are $7 each and are available at the door.  WZOE-AM 1490 will be broadcasting on-location from the pageant beginning just after five-o’clock this afternoon.
