Road construction begins on Princeton's Main Street

     If you normally travel Princeton's Main Street between Peru and Clark, you'll want to be a little more careful the next month and a half or so.  The Illinois Department Of Transportation reports that road resurfacing begins today on what are technically Routes 26 and 34 in Princeton.  In addition to the resurfacing, sidewalk ramps are being replaced at some intersections.  Advanced Asphalt of Princeton is handling the project for $400,000.  They expect to finish by the end of next month.
