Governor in Oglesby today

     Governor Pat Quinn is visiting the area today.  He’ll  be at Illinois Valley Community College in Oglesby this afternoon.  Quinn is using the stop to announce $22.8 million in capital funding for the IVCC Community Technology Center project.  The 80,000 square-foot CTC will be home to nine career programs, all enrollment managements services, the Business Training Center, and Adult Education.  A groundbreaking will be held in spring 2012 and the center is expected to be open by 2013.  Quinn will make the announcement on the steps of IVCC’s front entrance at 3:30 this
afternoon.
