Lil’ Wranglers Rodeo to debut at Bureau County Fair

     The pre-registration deadline is approaching for one of the new events at this year’s Bureau County Fair.  The Lil’ Wranglers Rodeo debuts Saturday, August 27 at 2pm in the McCutchan Arena.  This kids contest features Stick-Horse Barrel Racing for ages 4 to 6; Chicken Races for ages 2 to 3, 4 to 5, and 6 to 7; Greased Pig Chasing for ages 6 to 8, 9 to 11, and 12 to 14; and Mutton Bustin’ for ages 4 and up with a 75-pound weight limit.  

The deadline for pre-registration is Wednesday.  Forms can be downloaded on the fair’s website at bureaucountyfair.com or may be picked up at the fair office.  Only 200 entries will be accepted, with a limit of 100 in the Mutton Bustin’ event.  There is a $10 entry fee and parent’s signature required per-participant.  There is no admission charge at the arena to watch the Lil’ Wranglers Rodeo.

The 156th Bureau County Fair runs August 24th through the 28th in Princeton.
