President Obama to be in Atkinson this week

President Barack Obama is visiting the area this week.  He’ll be in Atkinson as part of a three-day, campaign-style Midwest bus tour that is also taking him to Iowa and Minnesota.  The Atkinson meeting will be Wednesday at Wyffels Hybrids Incorporated.  Despite the struggling economy nationwide, Atkinson officials will be happy to greet the President, as the village recently received federal stimulus money that helped build a new fire station and resurface a main road.
