Peru deli owner wins $500,000 lottery prize

An area deli owner is a half-million richer after buying a winning Illinois Lottery ticket at his own store.  Bob Ankiewicz, owner of Ankiewicz's Deli in Peru, played a twenty-dollar scratch-off game August 9th but didn't tell anyone about his $500,000 win until a couple of days ago after his photo appeared on a lottery Facebook page.  The business that sells a winning lottery ticket over $1,000 receives one percent of the prize.  In this case, that money goes to Ankiewicz's deli.  Ankiewicz and his wife of 43 years, Kathy, say they have no immediate plans for the money they'll receive, which is about $350,000 after taxes.
