Alcohol suspected to have played a role in Streator drowning

La Salle County Coroner Jody Bernard says foul play is NOT suspected at this time in a weekend drowning death at a pool in Streator.  33-year old Jennifer Lenda of LaGrange Park was found unresponsive floating in a pool Friday afternoon.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.  Bernard says an autopsy was performed Saturday, and according to Deputy Coroner Ed Taylor, alcohol is suspsected to have played a role in the drowning.  The incident remains under investigation by the La Salle County Sheriff's Office and La Salle County Coroner's Office.
