156th Bureau County Fair begins today

The 156th annual Bureau County Fair begins today at the fairgrounds in Princeton.  Gates open at 2 this afternoon.  Today's activities include a horse speed show starting at 4:30, beer garden starting at 5 and Garden Tractor Pull at 7.  There are also unlimited ride armbands on sale tonight for 18 dollars.  The highlight of the fair's five-day run is Friday night's 36th annual Country Show featuring Jerrod Niemann and Edens Edge.  WZOE-AM 1490 will be broadcasting on-location at the fair from 1 to 4 today and tomorrow.
