It's Day 2 of the Bureau County Fair

The 156th Bureau County Fair continues it's five-day run at the fairgrounds in Princeton.  During yesterday's opening events, Tracy Brenneman made a special announcement.  He said the Bureau County Fair Board is dedicating this year's fair to longtime board member Bill Diller, who died Monday at age 77.  Brenneman says following his funeral on Saturday, the hearse will take Diller for one final visit to the Bureau County Fairgrounds.  Today is Senior Day, with those 62 and over paying a reduced gate admission of two-dollars.  The free daily entertainment includes a carnival, bengal tiger show, chain saw carving artists, a model train display, fine art exhibits and musical entertainment in the hospitality tent.  Tonight's grandstand events are a bags tournament at 6 followed by talent show at 7 emceed by WZOE's Richard Martinez.  Talent show organizer Nancy Monier says she is excited about this year's event.  WZOE-AM 1490 will again be broadcasting on-location at the fair from 1 to 4 this afternoon.
