As in year’s past, the medallion is hidden on public property within the City of Princeton.  The winner receives one-thousand dollars in Princeton Chamber gift certificates.  In addition to the medallion, several other surprises have been hidden throughout the city to reward hunters for their efforts.  The medallion hunt committee releases clues every Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday until the medallion is found.  Citizens Great Medallion Hunt is held each year in conjunction with the Bureau County Homestead Festival, which this year runs September 8th through the 11th.
