Kewanee Man Dies In Henry County Jail

A Henry County Jail inmate is dead and no one knows why.  Levi Ingram of Kewanee had just returned from a court hearing Monday before officials found him dead in his cell.  Illinois State Police Master Sergeant Chris Endress says jail staff and emergency responders were unable to revive the inmate. He was pronounced dead at 3:45 Monday afternoon at a Geneseo hospital.  Ingram has been in jail since August 19th on charges of Theft, Burglary, and Criminal Damage to Property.  An autopsy will be performed later today.
