Mendota shooting leaves two hospitalized and one jailed

Two people are hospitalized and another is jailed after a shooting outside Mendota.  38-year old Jesus Rosas of rural Mendota is charged with aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated discharge of a firearm.  He’s being held in the La Salle County Jail.  No word yet on the names and conditions of the two shooting victims, who were taken to Rockford Memorial Hospital.
