La Salle County State’s Attorney running for another term

La Salle County State’s Attorney Brian Towne is running for another term. The Democrat announced his intentions yesterday. Towne has been state’s attorney since his predecessor, Joe Hettel, was made a judge in 2006. Towne is so far unopposed both in the spring primary and next fall’s general election.
