Princeton program planned on bath salts

Did you know bath salts are a synthetic drug? Your children probably do.  A free public forum program entitled “It’s A Matter of Life and Death: Bath Salts, Not Just for the Bath”, will be held Wednesday, September 21st, 7 o’clock at Princeton High School. Keynote speaker Master Sgt. Joe Beliveau, Acting Zone 6 Narcotics Commander for the Illinois State Police, will talk about bath salts and other synthetic drugs circulating among today’s youth. The Community Partners Against Substance Abuse, or C-PASA, the Princeton Police Department, and Princeton High School have joined forces to bring this program to parents, educators, city and county officials, and anyone concerned for the youth in their communities.  It is illegal to sell or possess bath salts in Princeton and the state of Illinois.
