Power back on after major outage

Ameren reports power restored to the entire area after a major outage happened last night.  The majority of the area affected had their electricity out for a little over 2 hours, according to Leigh Morris, Public Relations spokesperson for Ameren Illinois.  Morris says a problem occurred at the Hennepin substation that knocked out power to 26 communities, from Princeton east to Ottawa and from LaMoille south to Tonica.  About 15,000

customers were affected. Morris says virtually all power had been restored by 7:00 p.m.
