Utica woman dies in SUV-semi collision

A 22-year old Utica woman is dead after an SUV in which she was a passenger was involved in a collision with a semi yesterday morning about four miles north of Ottawa.  The accident happened at about 8:15 am on Route 23 at the intersection with County Highway 21.  Elizabeth Sebby was pronounced dead at the scene while her twin sister Casey, the driver of the SUV, is in critical condition at St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.  Elizabeth’s 15-month old daughter, Mya Jean, was treated and released from Ottawa

Regional Hospital.  The driver of the semi was not injured.  An investigation continues by the La Salle County Sheriff’s Office and La Salle County Coroner’s Office.
