Princeton City Council discusses Home Rule

The city of Princeton wants to inform the public about Home Rule, but how do they get the word out?  With the Home Rule referendum coming up for a vote in March, Princeton City Commissioner Joel Quiram passed out frequently asked questions and answers at last night’s meeting that he wanted posted on the city website. But Terry Madsen felt these questions and answers could be taken as a pro-Home Rule stance. Mayor Keith Cain agreed and asked City attorney John Isaacson to rule on the appropriateness of posting these on the city website at the next meeting.
