Winter weather causing traffic accidents

The return of winter weather is causing traffic accidents throughout the area.  Within minutes of the snow’s arrival, the vehicle crashes began.  Just before 9 am, a woman crashed her car into a pole on South Main Street.  At around 9:30 in Peru, the ambulance was called to an accident along Peoria Street.  A few minutes later state police were tending to a two-vehicle accident involving a semi and a car on westbound Interstate 80 near Annawan.  All drivers are being reminded to turn on your headlights so other drivers can see you.
