Marshall County traffic accident kills Peoria man

A Peoria man is dead after his car collided with a semi truck on a snowy highway near Sparland.  34-year old Adam Lagocki was traveling on Route 17 just west of the Lacon-Sparland Bridge late yesterday morning when his vehicle spun sideways and into the path of the semi.  Police say Lagocki was pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the truck, a Milan man, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
