Double-murder trial of Seneca man to get underway

The double-murder trial of a Seneca man is scheduled to get underway today with jury selection.  44-year old Keith Mackowiak is charged in the beating deaths of a rural Seneca couple.  Mackowiak, who faces life in prison if convicted, has been in the La Salle County Jail since being arrested in July of 2007.  Opening statements could begin as early as tomorrow.
