Local student to attend HOBY seminar

Princeton High School Counselor Deb Dullard announced that sophomore Laura Behrends has been chosen as the Hugh O’Brien Youth Ambassador for 2012. Behrends will attend the HOBY Leadership Seminar at Illinois Wesleyan University in June. Hoby’s mission is to inspire and develop youth to lead a life of leadership, service, and innovation. Behrends said she was grateful to the school to be chosen.  Laura Behrends is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Behrends of Tiskilwa.
