Cause of death and identities revealed in the case of two bodies found in Hennepin
More information has been released in the case of two bodies found Sunday night in Hennepin. We now have the victims’ names and cause of death. The bodies have been identified as a retiree and his wife. Putnam County Sheriff Kevin Doyle says deputies found 73-year old James Price and 83-year old Darlene Price dead in the kitchen area of their home. Doyle says Darlene had received a single gunshot wound from James, who in-turn died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Doyle says at 6:18 Sunday evening, his office received a 911 call of an unresponsive person. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two bodies at 112 South 11th Street. An investigation continues by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department and the Illinois State Police.
