Festival 56 to present “It’s A Wonderful Life” on WZOE
Festival 56 is again presenting the holiday classic “It’s a Wonderful Life” as a radio play. The show will be presented Saturday at the Grace Performing Arts Center in Princeton and broadcast live over WZOE-AM 1490. Doors open at 1 pm for pre-show musical entertainment, followed by the live broadcast at 2 pm. As in previous years, the cast will be local community members. Among those taking part this year: Brandon Behrens of Heartland Bank, Dr. Paul Bonucci of Princeton Prompt Care, Princeton Chamber Director Kim Frey, Perry Memorial Hospital CEO Rex Conger, Princeton Mayor Keith Cain, city commissioner Terry Madsen, public defenders Mick Henneberry and Steve Gunning, and Mary Phillips, co-founder of Festival 56 and Princeton Public Library board member. Special guest performer will be Dexter Brigham Sr., father of Festival 56 executive artistic director Dexter Brigham.
