IVCC’s Thomas named Arrowhead MVP

Arnisha Thomas, leader of the Illinois Valley Community College women’s basketball team, has been named Arrowhead Conference Most Valuable Player.  The 5-11 sophomore guard, an Eastern Illinois University recruit, led the Eagles to an 8-4 conference mark and second place finish behind Kishwaukee, which went unbeaten at 12-0. Kishwaukee’s Karen Wiley was named Arrowhead Coach of the Year.
