Dixon teachers strike is over

Teachers in Dixon are heading back to class.  The school board and teacher's union reached agreement on a four-year contract early this morning.  Classes resume today and students will begin standardized testing by the end of the week.  According to the district's website, the agreement was reached at 1:40 this morning.  Specific details of the contract will be made available after the teachers ratify and the board approves the tentative agreement early next week.
