Princeton City Council hires company to perform city audit

The Princeton City Council has hired a Bloomington company to perform the city's 2013 audit.  It's the same company that did the city's 2012 audit.  The deal with Striegel-Knobloch & Co. is not to exceed $24,500.  At their Monday night meeting, the council also accepted a bid from Lucas Lawn Care for mowing.  The three-year contract is for $175,530 and ends in the fall of 2015.  The council also had the first reading of the budget and reminded residents the budget will be posted on the internet.  Mayor Keith Cain proclaimed April as Fair Housing Month in Princeton, before the council went into executive session.
