Some towns are nearly under water because of the rain. Marseilles Police Chief Jim Hovious says he's has never seen anything like this. Hovious says the flood has been a challenge. The flood waters broke a levy on the Illinois River and now Marseilles has about five feet of water. About 1,500 people have evacuated the town. Most of have gone to a friend or family members house. There's also a shelter set up at Illinois Valley Community College for anyone who needs a place to go.
