A man is going to prison for calling in two bomb threats to businesses on the north end of Princeton. The offenses happened in December of 2011 and January of 2012 and involved AmericInn, Burger King, Culver’s and McDonald’s. 25-year old Kristofer Watson was sentenced to 2 years in prison yesterday by Bureau County Circuit Judge Marc Bernabei. Watson pled guilty to disorderly conduct, a Class 3 Felony, in February. Bernabei cited Watson’s prior criminal record in handing down a prison sentence. He also said probation would have diminished the seriousness of the offense. In addition to the prison sentence, Watson was ordered to pay $4,635 in fines and costs and $1,090 in restitution to the city of Princeton. With good behavior and credit allotted for time served, Watson could be released in six months.
