State Sen. Darin LaHood and State Rep. Don Moffitt are hosting a free citizen's utility board and senior fraud prevention clinic at the Prouty Community Building in Princeton one week from today, Thursday august 8th, from 9:00 to 11:00 am. The attorney general's office will also be on hand to speak about consumer scams that target senior citizens like internet lotteries and mail fraud. Seniors will also be able to search for unclaimed property through the treasurer's I-cash computer. All interested senior citizens in the area are invited to attend for info on fraud prevention as well as ways to save money phone, electric and gas bills. CUB staffers are asking for those who attend to bring copies of their utility and phone bills to help the staff find ways to save money.
