The Bureau County Sheriff's Office is asking for YOUR help in solving the criminal damage to property case that occurred at Indian Valley Timber and Stone. The Sheriff's Office responded to reports of Criminal Damage to Property on July 16th and 17th to find damage done to Caterpillar excavators at two different locations that are both owned by the same local company. The first was damaged at a location off RT 26 E of Bureau and the second was located S of Bureau along the Iowa Interstate Railroad tracks. Indian Valley Timber and Stone is offering a $50,000 reward for the CONVICTION of person(s) involved although your name WILL NOT remain anonymous. However, the Bureau-Putnam County Crimestoppers will pay out a reward on an ARREST stemming from a tip and your name WILL remain anonymous.
