Two Bureau County residents plead guilty to Bureau County Circuit Court Judges this week for unlawful delivery of a controlled substance. The two instances were unrelated and one involved 28-year-old Vanessa Rodefer of rural Princeton after she sold less than one gram of Heroin to an undercover TRI-DENT (Tri-County Drug Enforcement Narcotics Team) officer. Rodefer plead guilty on August 27th and ssociate Circuit Judge C. J. Hollerich ordered the Probation Department to conduct a Pre-Sentence Investigation and set a Sentancing Hearing for October 11, 2013 at 9:30a.m.
The second case involved 24-year-old Michael L. Wilson of Spring Valley, who sold 1.4 grams of cocaine to an undercover TRI-DENT officer. Wilson plead guilty to Circuit Judge Marc P. Bernabei on August 26th and was placed on five years TASC Probation with the condition that he pay fines, fees and court costs totaling $3,012 by September 3rd 2014; serve six months in the Bureau County Jail; and follow all recommendations of his TASC Evaluation for drug treatment.
